Prescott Valley has added two new solar-powered pedestrian crosswalks designed to improve visibility and help keep the community safe and walkable. The crosswalks are now complete and ready for use in two locations: Skoog Blvd: Between AAEC and the Civic Center Robert Road: At the Nace Lane intersection These systems use pole-mounted solar panels to charge batteries during the day, allowing the lights to operate without relying on grid power. Each crosswalk is equipped with high-intensity Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs).
