The Diner Fire - Tales from Bark Mountain
Description
The crew responds to a late-night fire at the Maple Bend Diner—as they start fighting the fire, something unexpected happens. Firefighter Red begins to feel his chest tighten and his thoughts race. It’s an anxiety attack, one that would make any hero feel scared. But he isn’t alone.
Forrest notices right away. With a steady voice, slow breaths, and a hand on Red’s shoulder, he helps his friend calm down. Together, side by side, they breath and advance on the fire and safely put out the fire. Saving the most popular diner in Bark Mountain.
This episode was created especially for parents and young children who have anxious moments, offering a gentle message: even the bravest people can feel overwhelmed. And when we reach out for help—just like Red did—that isn’t weakness. It’s courage.
A reassuring, hopeful story that helps kids know: Talking about how your feeling is brave, It’s okay to feel big feelings.
