Bill Clinton has publicly stated that he had no knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities during the period they were acquainted. Clinton has said that had he been aware of Epstein’s sex trafficking and abuse of minors, he “would have turned him in.” Clinton has previously acknowledged flying on Epstein’s private plane and meeting him on multiple occasions in the early 2000s, primarily in connection with charitable work through the Clinton Foundation. However, he has consistently denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island and has maintained that he was unaware of Epstein’s misconduct at the time.
