Episode Details

Houston Cougars and Colorado Buffaloes clash in a pivotal Big 12 basketball showdown—could a decisive loss be the spark Colorado needs for program change? Hosts Parker Ainsworth and Kevin Borba dissect the Buffs’ roller-coaster season, Tad Boyle’s uncertain future, and whether both teams have overlapping interests in their weekend matchup. The conversation explores the impact of Isaiah Johnson's guard play, Colorado’s diminutive but dynamic backcourt, and how key losses and shifting donor energy might influence the coaching landscape.

Big 12 basketball’s top-heavy, relentless schedule comes under scrutiny as the hosts question whether Colorado’s talent is simply outmatched or if deeper adjustments are needed. Insights include matchup concerns between Houston’s defense and Colorado’s perimeter shooters, Sebastian Rancic’s role as a stretch forward, and what an emphatic Houston win could mean for Boyle’s fate. Will the Buffaloes regroup, or is a new era on the horizon? Don’t miss this candid, insider analysis.
