Kenneth Foard McCallion joins us for a great chat about his research into the Heroin trade coming from France last century and how he finally had time to publish this as a full book "The Marseille Connection - The Major Unsolved Crime of the Twentieth Century - Finally Solved!" One can't help but picture this as a huge international intrigue spy story complete with gorgeous bond girls, organized crime, infiltration of government agencies and global drug running.

We chat about if this trade transitioned from Turkey, in the days of the Unione Corse smuggling to Afghanistan in more recent times and if so, who is in charge now? How deep was the CIA, DEA, INTERPOL etc infiltrated? What about the Nixon admin? This is like the French Connection movie times 100. Was there an unholy alliance between the CIA and the DEA?
