Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

In this new entry to the Star Trek canon we are boldly going, once again, to the far flung future and this time we are heading to the strange new world that is… high school? In a beguiling move for the Star Trek franchise we have shifted focus from exploring the stars with highly competent adults to exploring the interpersonal drama of teenagers. Is it “Skins in space”? Or is it “Beverly Hills: Star-date 90210”? Live long and prosper fellow kids!

Your faculty for this semester are PE teacher Dion, combo Maths and Science maven Jill, and cool, acessible, student counsellor Quinny who is just a bit too casual, ya know?

Synopsis

Starfleet Academy follows the first new class of Starfleet cadets in over a century as they come of age and train to be officers. They are taught aboard the USS Athena, a starship that docks at the Starfleet Academy campus in San Francisco but can also be deployed with the rest of the fleet
