The Tennessee Titans began roster moves on Wednesday with a surprise cut of starting center Lloyd Cushenberry. Cushenberry did not play well in his return from an Achilles injury in 2025 and never lived up to his contract, but it is still a bit surprising to see the Titans reject continuity on the offensive line. Replacing Cushenberry won't be a difficult task though as the center market is robust. High-end options like Tyler Linderbaum could be a fit or the Titans could go for more of a valueThere are plenty of options to replace Cush, but one the Titans won't be choosing is finding a starter in the NFL Draft, even if they look for a development option. Finally, the Titans also cut safety Xavier Woods, this clears a path for Kevin Winston to be a starter, but more likely, it clears a path for the Titans to add a third safety that can play more in the backend of the field and allow Winston to play in the nickel spot. Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi spoke on Wednesday and gave updates on  L'Jarius Sneed, who is also expected to be cut. Sneed, along with Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley, could be next on the list.
