Cy: Yn nyfnder y gystrawen gaeaf, wrth i'r eira lynu wrth grotesg y mynachlog, roedd Rhian yn eistedd ar lawr oer y neuadd fawr.
En: In the depth of winter's architecture, as the snow clung to the grotesque of the mynachlog, Rhian sat on the cold floor of the great hall.

Cy: Y tu ôl i'w llygaid cauedig, roedd henoed y lle hwn fel petai'n sibrwd storïau'r oesoedd trwy'r coed pin alpaidd.
