239: The Red Room (Classic Horror Stories)
Description
THE RED TREEHOUSE IS DEDICATED TO MY DAD.
I LOVE YOU, POP.
Join me in The Red Treehouse as I narrate a terrific classic horror story--The Red Room, by H.G. Wells.
First published in 1896, The Red Room by H.G. Wells is a gothic horror story about a man who spends a night in an allegedly haunted room in Lorraine Castle.
A hardened skeptic, the man sets out to disprove the legends as nothing more than myth and fable; but as he settles in, he gets more than he bargains for.
A tight, psychological horror story, The Red Room reminds us that sometimes what scares us the most isn’t ghosts or spirits or demons or poltergeists—but our fear of the unknown.
Now it’s time to sit back, turn down the lights, pull up the covers, and pay close attention as I read The Red Room by H.G. Wells.
