Lent is a season of reflection, prayer, and spiritual honesty. Sometimes what rises in us during this season is not strength — but fear. After Elijah’s great victory came a threat that sent him running. This prayer speaks to those moments, when valleys follow mountaintops and doubt follows breakthrough. It reminds us that feat after victory does not mean God  has left — and that in every season, we are invited to stay close to God, as God stays close to us.
