Good Grief Retreat: Sisterhood & Healing in Midlife

Published 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Description

What if the grief you’re carrying in midlife isn’t about your loss, but about the woman you’re becoming on the other side of it? In this episode, you’ll hear how a sacred retreat can foster sisterhood and healing to help you release what’s heavy so you can reconnect with your true self.

If you’re a woman over 50 navigating loss – whether it’s a loved one, a relationship, an identity, or something else – you’ll want to tune in for this conversation as three of my trusted friends and fellow healers join me to explore our upcoming Good Grief Retreat. You’ll hear about the healing power of nature and why the mountains of North Carolina provide the perfect container for this work. We’ll also share some of the powerful retreat experiences we have planned, and how grief, when witnessed and honored, can become a doorway to deeper purpose, joy, and self-love.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • Why grief in midlife can be about growth—not just loss (and how it can clarify what’s real).
  • How sacred space + sisterhood helps you heal faster than doing it alone (especially when you’ve been the strong one for everyone else).
  • What it looks like to “let go” safely through rituals like a keening circle, light language, and gentle subconscious healing.
  • How simple, soulful practices (labyrinth + creative honoring) can help you release, reconnect, and receive what’s next.
