Episode Details

In a major connectivity move, Gujarat has signed a Letter of Intent with space-x owned Starlink, the satellite internet, venture backed by Elon Musk. The agreement aims to bring high-speed satellite broadband to rural and underserved regions across the state - helping bridge the digital divide where fiber and traditional networks fall short. Using low-Earth orbit satellites, Starlink could transform internet access in remote communities, boosting education, healthcare, and e-governance. While this is currently a non-binding agreement, it signals a major step toward expanding satellite connectivity in India.
