Back to EpisodesTrump claims he is exonerated in the Epstein files
Description
Trump's erratic behavior dominated the day, from a slurring, panicked response about Jeffrey Epstein on the Air Force One stairs to a rambling, incoherent hour-long performance at his inaugural Board of Peace summit. With words that seemed to slur with exhaustion and emptiness in his eyes, Trump declared himself "totally exonerated" when a reporter asked whether Epstein associates would face arrest, then spiraled through disconnected talking points in what may be his most unhinged public moment yet.
At the Board of Peace summit, MAGA hats served as place settings while Trump veered between ego-driven tangents about escalators and Chinese soldiers, publicly undermined both JD Vance and Marco Rubio in front of world leaders, and endorsed Hungary's authoritarian leader Viktor Orban. Major democracies including France, Germany, the UK, Italy, and Ukraine refused to participate or sent only observers, while Trump pledged $10 billion in taxpayer money to a board he chairs with no congressional approval. The day ended with Trump falling asleep in his chair on camera as world leaders watched.
