En: The snow was falling gently.
Nl: Buiten was het stil, behalve het zachte geritsel van de wind die door de hoge dennen van het Zwarte Woud blies.
En: Outside, it was quiet, except for the soft rustling of the wind blowing through the tall pines of the Zwarte Woud.
Nl: Binnen in de knusse blokhut was het warm.
En: Inside the cozy log cabin, it was warm.
Nl: Het haardvuur knetterde behaaglijk en wierp een warm licht op de muren, versierd met oude foto's en herinneringen.
