Description
The Milwaukee Brewers have secured their manager, Pat Murphy, with a new three-year contract, including a club option for 2029. This deal, worth nearly nine million dollars, makes Murphy one of the highest-paid managers in the majors. Murphy, a two-time NL manager of the year, led the Brewers to the best record in baseball last season, earning them a third straight NL Central title and their first NL Championship Series appearance since 2018. The Brewers will begin their Cactus League play against the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday.
