• The Illusion of Time and Control: Drawing on A Course in Miracles Lesson 158, David explains that "time is a trick, a sleight of hand." He emphasizes that the ego uses the past and future to distract us from the Holy Instant, where our safety lies. By letting go of the need to control the "script" of our lives, we discover that the mission of salvation is already accomplished through the Atonement.
• Transcending the Ego’s Distractions: The session explores how the mind is often fooled into believing it is a separate, physical entity at the mercy of external circumstances. David invites us to "peer behind the curtain" and see that all conflict—whether a nuclear threat on screen or a personal grievance—is merely a projection of a split mind.
