William Wilcox, a 25-year-old with a history of offenses, broke into a Caffè Nero, stealing a fake ten-pound note. The break-in cost the shop £3,000. Wilcox, who had previously shoplifted from Poundstretcher and Next, was recognized on CCTV and sentenced to 10 months in prison. The judge warned him to seek help and stop offending, or face longer sentences.
