USA hopes to strike gold this weekend

Episode 1322 Published 1 month ago
Description

The U.S. Men's hockey team hopes to strike gold for the first time since the 1980 Miracle on Ice team this weekend.  The USA team faces Slovakia while Canada should have its hands full with the defending champions, Finland.  The winners advance to Sunday's gold medal finale.  Team Canada will probably be without Sid Crosby, who netted the Golden Goal in the 2010 Gold Final vs the U.S. in overtime.  We congratulate the USA Women's team after they captured Gold Thursday in a 2-1 overtime thriller over Team Canada.  Megan Keller scored the game-winner for the U.S. Team.  The United States women's team has dominated Team Canada with wins in four rivalry series games leading up to the Games.  And, they defeated Canada twice in the Olympics.  Plus our WTF segment.
