Venezuela

Venezuela's Acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, signed the amnesty law and said the legislation opens a door for Venezuela's reunification.

The head of state added, quote, this law opens an extraordinary door for Venezuela to reunite and to learn to live democratically and to rid itself of hatred so that understanding and recognition may prevail, Rodriguez said.

Ecuador

Thousands of Ecuadorians march toward the National Assembly in Quito against the urgent economic bill promoted by the neoliberal pro-U.S. President Daniel Noboa.

The demonstrators denounce that the initiative severely limits spending allocated to public services and social programs in health, education, security, and culture.

Argentina

And in an alarming setback for the labor rights of Argentines, the Chamber of Deputies approved the labor reform of the far-right Milei, dismantling protections won by generations of workers dating back to the 20th century.

The bill now returns to the Senate for final approval, while the International Monetary Fund has already voiced its support for Millet's reform as part of its structural demand for Argentina, prioritizing the attraction of investment over the human dignity of Argentine workers.
