It's hoped Clare's camogie side will stake an early claim for promotion from Division 1B this weekend.
Eugene Foudy's side welcome fellow promotion hopefuls Wexford to Clareabbey on Saturday afternoon following a battling draw against Dublin in their opening round game.
The visitors recorded an emphatic 2-14 to 0-8 win over Offaly last week and will be bolstered by the return of key player Anais Curran this weekend.
The Banner came out on top of two close encounters when the sides met last year and Clare FM analyst Anne Marie McGann expects there to be nothing between the teams again.
