Many Schools Could See Reduction In SNA Allocations

Many Schools Could See Reduction In SNA Allocations

Published 1 week, 3 days ago
Description
The debate over Special Needs Assistant allocations has been back in the spotlight after the Government paused its review following widespread concern from parents, teachers, and unions. Many schools had been told they could see reductions in SNA support next September, leaving families and staff anxious about what this could mean for children who rely on these vital supports. Joining Alan Morrissey on Thursday's Morning Focus was Renee Hayes, a primary school teacher with twenty years’ experience across mainstream and special education settings, a former SNA tutor, and a parent of a child with complex needs.
