En: The sunlight was bright and warm on a summer morning in February.
Af: Johan het sy inkopielys in sy hand geknypt terwyl hy en sy vriende, Annelie en Pieter, by die supermark instap.
En: Johan clutched his shopping list in his hand as he and his friends, Annelie and Pieter, entered the supermarket.
Af: Die winkels was vol mense wat besig was met hul eie inkopies, en die geur van vars vrugte en groente vul die lug.
