The New York Mets have assembled a formidable outfield, with Luis Robert Jr. in center and Juan Soto in left. The right field spot is a battle, but 23-year-old Carson Benge from Oklahoma City is making a strong case. Benge, drafted 19th overall in 2024, quickly rose through the minors, posting impressive numbers at each level. His Double-A stats are particularly noteworthy: a .377 batting average, .407 on-base percentage, .571 slugging percentage, and a 184 wRC+. The Mets front office is high on Benge, believing hell be a fixture in their outfield by mid-2026.
