BC’s ambitious $10-a-day childcare program has been paused, leaving families and providers watching closely for the next steps.

Reaction is continuing to pour in following the release of the province's 2026 budget.

As of yesterday, Canadian passport holders are able to travel to China without a visa for stays of up to 30 days. This is a major shift in our travel rules that now aligns Canada with nearly 50 other countries whose citizens enjoy visa-free entry.
