Question from Duke of Crude from Texas Duke of Crude:
Hey Fam,
When you travel, do you have a different carry gun you take than your normal EDC? The hard case I need for my witness tanfoglio to fit is bigger than I want for my checked bag. There is a fair deal on a shield plus at a local pawn shop and i was thinking it would be good for when I travel for work.
What thoughts do you have or am I just wasting money? I do have to travel to Houston, Memphis, and New Orleans quite a bit and would like to know of what options you might carry for this application.
Also, is carrying a big bore revolver into meth country (44 spc/mag or 45 Long colt) better than a typical 9mm micro double stack or is this just boomer lore?
Thanks for the great show!

Question from Matt A from FL Matt A
Recently I attended a concert and had to go through a metal detector and scanner. It got me thinking about large crowd events and what if there was an active shooter situation and here I am unarmed with my family and unable to protect them. So, reference gun free zones or large crowd events; what is the crews thoughts about going to large crowd events/places that prohibit firearms or carrying in areas that do not have metal detectors or scanners and are considered gun free zones or do you just avoid these places all together? In listening I believe Jermey is the only one with small children. So, do you not go places like amusement parks or places that would have metal detectors or scanners or schools events? Thanks for the insight, Love the show!!
Question from LagDemon from MN From LagDemon
I want to get a mp5k, I’m leaning towards the ptr 9rs. is there a difference in recoil from the reciver sizes because the mp5k has a shorter reciver than the reverse stretch version? both have the same 4-5″ barrel
Question from Zach from CA Listening to double tap 444.
Nick brought up doing something similar to Roadkill but for guns. This is a great idea for the dangerous freedom YouTube channel. Because some of you have FFLs, could you not buy firearms across state lines? Fly or drive some where with a set budget in mind. Purchase your firearm(used or maybe from agents?), accessories, whatever kit you may need, tools, etc. and compete in local events.
Would be awesome to see.
Maybe same premise but with loner firearms and agency members if way out of budget. Just a thought, thanks
Zach
Question from Anonymous Coward from NC Question for the cast from talk number two text
You were talking about suppressor cages on a previous episode and about how you could use a hub mount to potentially mount a suppressor cage what if it was like a free float Darryl free hand guard and attached to the hub mount just the way that a free hand, guard attaches barrel nut. We know that most cans have a specific size. Yes some smaller some larger, but it’s gonna be somewhat universal in the shit in the diameter . What if you had the hub mount have a portion of it that could lock on the cage for the suppressor talk amongst yourselves talk to text sucks while driving #WLS.
Question from Jeff from NH Hi, this is Jeff from NH.
Is a red dot on top of an LPVO too tall? Putting a dot at a 45 degree is not an option as im not a boomer fudd. Personally i think top dots are the way but some others say it practically unusable.
Notes – XOXO
