Af: Op 'n helder somerdag, met die son warm oor die blou lug van Kaapstad, het Annelie en Ruan op die roete na Tafelberg begin stap.
En: On a bright summer day, with the sun warm over the blue sky of Kaapstad, Annelie and Ruan began their hike on the trail to Tafelberg.
Af: Die pad was steil, omring deur fynbos en die vars reuk van die natuur.
En: The path was steep, surrounded by fynbos and the fresh scent of nature.
Af: Annelie het 'n spesiale taak gehad: om 'n skoolprojek oor omgewingsbewaring te voltooi.
En: Annelie had a special task: to complete a school project on environmental conservation.
Af: Haar oë glinster van opwinding.
En: Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
Af: Ruan, haar klasmaat, was egter meer geïnteresseerd in die avontuur as die projek.
