In today’s Devotions by the Sea episode, “No-see-ums,” we reflect on how life often doesn’t go as planned. Even in beautiful places, small frustrations remind us that something in this world is broken. When God created Adam and Eve, creation was perfect—free from pain, disease, and suffering. But when sin entered, everything changed, and all creation began to feel its effects. As Romans 8:22 reminds us, creation still groans, pointing us to God’s promise to one day restore what was lost. The “no seeums” of life remind us that this world is not our final home.
