These Free For All Friday shows are the most fun that we do. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE interviewing people but getting a chance to be ourselves and take listener questions either by calling up or from our chat room, it makes the show so much fun.
We talked about how difficult it was and continues to be for me to get caught up on emails. I really apologize for how long it has taken me to answer everybody’s email communications. I really struggle with that. On the one hand I wish I could answer everybody’s email and connect with everybody on an individual daily basis.
On the other hand if I did that, I wouldn’t be able to produce as many shows as we do. I don’t intend to hire somebody either to answer for me because that’s just not right. I feel bad that somebody has taken time out of their day to write Kate or me a long well written email and I can’t respond.
I don’t know what it is. I feel like it’s rude to not respond to people. And back in the day I remember people online saying the same thing and I kept thinking to myself, “why can’t they just reply with something really quick?”. Well the answer is that if they were to do that, the person on the other end would reply and it would go on like that eventually taking up a long time out of the day.
It’s a great challenge to have because it means we’re growing. But it also means I may have a harder time getting back to all of you. But just remember I read EVERYTHING that comes and and even pass them on to Kate if it’s relevant. Often times we’ll talk about certain emails that come in and we’ll share them on our Free For All Friday shows or in our forum as well.
So thank you all for understanding our situation.
