Published 1 month ago
Description
The Munich Security Conference has wrapped up in Germany, after three days of meetings and speeches from world leaders covering everything from the war in Ukraine to regime change in Iran.
The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio used his speech to reassure Europe that the U-S doesn't plan to abandon the transatlantic alliance, but he also warned that the US has no interest in being the "caretakers of the West's managed decline."
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for a 20 year security guarantee from the US; before agreeing to any peace deal.
