Daniels, a senior from Auburn, was mostly a third-stringer and may not fit well with new head coach Mike Norvells scheme. Fans were hoping for bigger names, and the staff even talked to other quarterbacks. Auburn, on the other hand, seems to have won the transfer market, bringing in Byrum Brown and Tristan Tia for the 2026 season.
