En: Maarja’s eyes followed the snow falling outside the window.
Et: Oli külm veebruarikuu hommik, ja lumetorm muutus üha tugevamaks.
En: It was a cold February morning, and the snowstorm was getting stronger.
Et: Maarja seisis seina ääres, oma mantli nööbid kinni, salli ümber kaela.
En: Maarja stood by the wall, her coat buttoned up, scarf wrapped around her neck.

En: Today was an important day.
