Our guest is Kendall Brest, the Safeties coach for the Grove City College Wolverines in Grove City, PA. Coach Brest and I discuss the unique culture at Grove City that has helped the program turn around from 0-33 to making the NCAA D-III playoffs. We also review the defensive strategies the Wolverines employ as they led the nation in turnover margin.

Coach Brest has been coaching at Grove City since 2021. Before that, he was a Football and Strength & Conditioning Intern at Youngstown State. Youngstown, of course, has become a well-known coaches incubator in much the same way as Miami-Ohio was in the mid-20th century.
