What looked like a mere missing persons case to the Uran police, soon turned out to be a murder. Dawood sheikh. A man from Karnataka who was booked under the POCSO act in 2019, a complaint filed by yashashree’s father, Surendra kumar. What was first thought of as an act of revenge turned out to be a consequence of yashashree rejecting his marriage proposal. He was caught on 30th July 2024 from Gulbarga, Karnataka.
