Description
#SRPAY #Documentary #TrueCrimeThis Pakistani true crime story focuses on Maulavi Ghulam Sarwar aka Hafiz Mohammad Sarwar, a fanatic from Gujranwala, Pakistan, brutally murdered multiple women in the years 2002 and 2003 under the guise of religious morality. However, due to public support and connections with extremist groups like Lakshar-e-Taiba, he was eventually released and seemed to lead a normal life. But this event only emboldened him and things got worse when his problematic ideology targeted a renowned Pakistani politician, Zil-e Huma Usman. Zil-e Huma was a progressive and beloved figure who worked for empowerment of women and progression of the Pakistani society. Her ideologies directly contradicted those of Ghulam Sarwar's, which became the reason for the immense hate that Ghulam Sarwar harbored for Zil-e Huma Usman. Unfortunately on 20th February 2007, during a party meeting in Gujranwala, Ghulam Sarwar open fired on Huma and despite people's best efforts, she didn't survive this gruesome attack. Ghulam was quickly arrested on the spot and after a long court trial, he was finally sentenced to death on 21st March, 2011. But fate had other plans as Ghulam Sarwar succumbed to his illness on 27th January, 2012 before his execution and he died a slow and isolated death. _________________________________________Socials:Instagram : / shrinkhal22 Twitter : / srpay_ Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/show/1LUSjgA...Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...Whatsapp : https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029ValC...My Gear -Mic Shure SM7B :
