Welcome to the first coaching episode, these are meant to be another tool in your toolbox as you hear how other families are navigating life, straight from their homes.
Today I have the honor of coaching Casie around the various challenges she and her husband face now that their 19-year-old son is home from treatment and living with them. It's a tricky time of transition with a young adult who has been away at wilderness therapy, residential treatment, transitional living, and sober living...whew!
Casie generously opened our session to you as a way to help you gain ideas for living with a newly-sober young adult and she was transparent about her struggles as a mom whose tendency is to "fix."
