The Chino Valley Police Department is proud to announce that Chief Joshua McIntire and members of command staff attended the Arizona Law Enforcement Program (ALEAP) Commission meeting on January 28, 2026. The department was formally awarded its initial 4-year law enforcement accreditation. ALEAP is a voluntary accreditation program dedicated to promoting professionalism, accountability, and excellence in law enforcement agencies throughout the State of Arizona. The program requires participating agencies to undergo a comprehensive evaluation of their policies, procedures, operation and training practices against 174 established standards, based on the best industry practices for modern policing.
