Doonaha Woman Awarded Best Service At Michelin Awards For Britain & Ireland
Published 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Description
It was a landmark night for Irish food and hospitality – and for Clare in particular - as the Michelin Guide ceremony was held in Ireland for the very first time — and there was strong Clare and Cork representation on the stage.
Doonaha native Barbara Nealon took home the prestigious Michelin Service Award for her work at Saint Francis Provisions in Kinsale, while artisan producer Siobhán Ní Gharbaith was also present on the night, proudly showcasing Irish cheese to an international audience.
They both spoke with Alan Morrissey on Friday's Morning Focus.
