Recovering a Sense of Autonomy: Embodied Companion to The Artist’s Way Part 11
Description
In Episode 11 of this 12 part minisode devotional, embodied companion to The Artist’s Way, I explore what it means to recover a sense of autonomy and reconnect with inner authority as a creative and emotional practice.
I reflect on the paradox many of us experience between independence and support. I share personal reflections about having a naturally sovereign spirit while also deeply valuing connection, family support, and collaboration, and how autonomy expands when support is chosen consciously while staying rooted in self trust.
I share how this season of my life has invited me to become my own mentor, listen inward more directly, and trust intuitive guidance, even when that path feels quieter and more spacious.
In alignment with this chapter, I explore how creative autonomy grows through trusting intuition, honoring personal timing, allowing creative preferences to evolve, and accepting that authentic expression may invite both connection and misunderstanding.
This episode includes a guided Tri Active breathwork experience designed to help you feel inner authority, release approval seeking and comparison, and reconnect with sovereignty and self trust as embodied experiences.
If this work is resonating and you feel drawn to go deeper, I offer a private 12 session breathwork journey inspired by the chapters of The Artist’s Way.
I am also hosting The Authentic Creative: Breathwork and Reiki by the Sea, a women’s retreat taking place May 3-6 on the Oregon Coast. There are a few spots remaining. If you feel curious, you are welcome to email me and we can explore together whether it is the right fit.
