In 2024 the actor was diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer, but he kept on working ...as well as publicly sharing his health battle... Vanderbeek is survived by his wife and six children. His family saying in a statement he met his final days with courage faith and grace, and they say he passed peacefully. He was 48 years old.
