Anna Blank and Christina Reynolds, Kansas City neighbours known as the Shuffle Mamas, began learning shuffle dancing in their garage during the 2020 lockdowns and have since built a following of 2.7 million online followers. The duo taught themselves the footwork-heavy, high-energy dance style by studying videos online without any professional training. They now run a business offering five digital courses and a Zoom community where women learn shuffle dancing together.
