Published 1 month ago
Description
An area three times the size of the ACT has been cleared in New South Wales in recent years - and it's threatening hundreds of native species.
That's according to new research from the Wentworth Group for Concerned Scientists. The group says almost 700-thousand hectares have been cleared across the state between 2010 and 2023.
Concerned environmentalists say there needs to be more regulation around land clearing.
