New online tool helps private well users interpret test results
Published 2 months, 1 week ago
Description
Over 800,000 private wells provide drinking water for Wisconsin residents – but those wells aren’t subject to the same testing requirements as public utilities.
So how can private well users find out what’s in their water…and whether it’s safe to drink?
A new online tool helps answer these questions. To learn how it works, “Water Stories” host Greg Michaud sat down with Marty Nessman, manager of the state DNR’s Private Water Supply Section.
