Evening Prayer: Growing Into Wholeness

God of complete and unending love,

As this day comes to a close,

we release the pressure to be perfect.

Where our love is small,

stretch it wider.

Where we embrace only what is familiar,

grow us beyond our comfort.

You send sun and rain without condition.

Help us reflect Your abundant generosity

as we encounter friend and stranger alike.

Make us mature in love.

Make us whole in heart.

Teach us to love You, ourselves, and our neighbors as ourselves

with a love that is full and undivided.

Tonight, we rest not in perfection,

but in Your faithful love—

the love that is already complete.

Amen.
