In this episode, we trace the zone’s strange history from Soviet-era secrecy to post-Perestroika paranormal expeditions, drawing heavily from firsthand accounts, photographs, and field notes written by those who visited the area themselves. From glowing spheres drifting over riverbanks and “living fog” that seems to respond to observers, to mysterious stone structures, scorched clearings, and a rumored portal known as the Wicket, this episode explores why locals, scientists, mystics, and ufologists alike all believe something is very wrong - and very active - in the forests near the village of Molebka.
