Venezuela

Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, call on all sectors of the country to take part in the consultation process framed within the program of the amnesty law for democratic coexistence. 

The law is expected to be approved in a second reading possibly on Friday after having been approved last Thursday by the National Assembly.

Mexico / Cuba

In Mexico, president Claudia Sheinbaum reported the dispatch of two Mexican navy vessels carrying eight hundred and fourteen tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba. 

The president again criticized Donald Trump's threats of tariff sanctions against any country that sends oil to the island, announced that these humanitarian aid shipments will continue, described US pressure on Cuba as unjust and stated, quote, you cannot strangle a people like this.

Colombia

Colombia is under emergency conditions due to heavy rains that have so far left fourteen people dead, nine thousand homes destroyed, and more than fifty thousand families affected. 

As slight reduction in rainfall is forecasted across much of the country over the next three days, although rain will continue in the Southwest Central regions and Colombia's Caribbean coast.
