Story Transcript:
Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod rhewllyd yn y gaeaf, y dref wedi'i lapio mewn eira a phoer yn chwibanu drwy'r coed.
En: It was a freezing winter day, the town wrapped in snow, and the wind whistling through the trees.
Cy: Wrth ymyl hen warws diffaith, sefyllodd Rhys yn amheus.
En: Next to an old abandoned warehouse, Rhys stood hesitantly.
Cy: Roedd y lle'n dangos ei oedran, gyda bylchau yn y to a'r dodrefn wedi pydru oddi fewn.
En: The place showed its age, with gaps in the roof and furniture rotting inside.
Cy: Ac eto, yma roedd Rhys, tynnu nerth o rywle, yn chwilio am atebion.
En: And yet, there was Rhys, drawing strength from somewhere, searching for answers.
Cy: Gwen oedd y cyntaf i'w rybuddio.
En: Gwen was the first to warn him.
Cy: "Rhys, mae'n beryglus yno.
En: "Rhys, it's dangerous there.
Cy: Ers y storm, mae'r lle'n gallu cwympo unrhyw funud.
En: Since the storm, the place could collapse at any moment."
Cy: " Ond oedd Rhys wedi cadw amser maith o gwmpas y dirgelwch, rhyfeddu gyda'r angen i ddarganfod amdani - ei fam a gollwyd ers ei blentyndod.
En: But Rhys had spent a long time around the mystery, fascinated by the need to discover more about it - his mother who had been lost since his childhood.
Cy: Roedd y gaeaf yn galed.
En: Winter was harsh.
Cy: Y gwynt yn codi rhwng y creiriau o'r warws, eto serch hynny, cefnodd Rhys ar y byd tu allan.
En: The wind rose between the remnants of the warehouse, yet despite that, Rhys turned his back on the outside world.
Cy: Yn dynn, agorodd drysiau'r warws a cherdded i mewn.
En: Tightly, he opened the warehouse doors and walked inside.
Cy: Y ffenestri wedi torri, y llawr gorchuddiedig mewn llwch a rhew.
En: The windows were broken, and the floor covered in dust and frost.
Cy: Yn nes ymlaen, wrth chwilio, tarodd ei lygaid ar flychau llawn llwch.
En: Later on, while searching, his eyes caught dust-covered boxes.
Cy: Un o flychau o dan dolen di-sylw yng nghornel dywyll y lle cysgodol.
En: One of the boxes was under an inconspicuous handle in the dark corner of the sheltered place.
Cy: Yn llawn o chwilfrydedd, agorodd y blwch.
En: Filled with curiosity, he opened the box.
Cy: Ymhlith papurau a hen bethau, safai llythyr mannau.
En: Among papers and old things, stood a manila envelope.
Cy: Y neges arno'n teimlo'n dwym ym mreichiau Rhys.
En: The message on it felt warm in the arms of Rhys.
Cy: Rhys eisteddodd ar bôstyn llawn rhwd.
En: Rhys sat on a rusty post.
Cy: Roedd ei galon yn prysuro, ychwanegol at y sgrech y gwynt.
En: His heart raced, adding to the screech of the wind.
Cy: Guthodd am fisoedd, yn ceisio cynllunio mai’r gwirionedd ar ei mam oedd hyn.
En: He had struggled for months, trying to plan that this was the truth about his mother.
Cy: Teimlai Gwen ac eraill dan fathodyn cymylu o driniaeth, ond rhoddwyd gafael.
En: Gwen and others felt under a cloud of manipulation, but a grip had been given.
Cy: "Annwyl fab," dechreuodd y llythyr.
En: "My dear son," the letter began.
Cy: Roedd y geiriau'n unigol ac yn empatig.
En: The words were personal and empathetic.
Cy: Iesu Grist, roedd popeth fel daeth Rhys a chydraddoldeb i'r llawr.
En: Jesus Christ, everything appeared like Rhys and equilibrium fell to the floor.
Cy: Roedd teimlad o ofn a eili
