This weekend, Pastor Mike walked us through Mark 10:42–45 and challenged our instinct to pursue significance by putting ourselves first. He showed how Jesus confronts a culture of power and status by redefining greatness as becoming a servant, not just serving occasionally. At the center of the message was Jesus himself—the Son of Man—who came not to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many.
