Got My Mind Made Up

Season 2 Episode 443 Published 2 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

"When you really want to be right with Yahweh and that is the only thing that matters, you'll quit justifying yourself on the basis of what your church believes, you'll quit justifying yourself on the basis of what some preacher told you to do, and you will ask the Holy Spirit- what must I do to be right with Yahweh?" - F Nolan Ball from his message titled "Got My Mind Made Up."
Apostle Ball tells a great story about one of his golf outings. He loved golf and was a very good golfer. One afternoon while playing with several of his pastors on staff, Apostle Ball tees up the ball and hits it a bit off of target into some trouble. When the men with him found his ball, they held it up and he said, "no, I hit a white ball, not a yellow one, that's not my ball". The men insisted, yes this is the ball you hit, no question. What Apostle Ball didn't realize is that the ball he hit was in fact yellow, he just couldn't tell so as he was playing with a new pair of sunglasses that made it look white. The moral of the story is that sometimes we look at situations through a lens that makes things appear one way when in fact they are very different in reality. When we look at our life and our situations through the lens of the Holy Spirit, we are sure to get it right and walk in truth. That will always lead to a good ending. Enjoy the message.
