Oesophageal Cancer Fund Urges Clare People to Recognise Symptoms
Published 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Description
February is Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month, and new research shows that while heartburn is very common, many people don’t recognise persistent symptoms as a possible early warning sign of oesophageal cancer.
Alan Morrissey was joined by Pat Barry from Ennis – a patient ambassador with the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
Pat is two years post-surgery and has a remarkably positive story to share about recovery, awareness and the importance of getting symptoms checked early.
