Representative Jeff Leach explains SJR 27 and that it is similar legislation to the "Freedom to Worship Act," however SJR 27 adds those protections as an amendment to the Texas Constitution. This amendment in the form of Proposition 3 still needs to be approved by voters in the November 2nd Election.
